I expect to see a 4-4-2 when the season starts, with Earnie lined up alongside Miller (as has been suggested by both players).

Is Malky experimenting today? Or just using the last opportunity to give our young strikers some 'free' game time before the real work starts?

Can't see Mason and Gestede in the first team. I'm thinking maybe Miller isn't 100%/Malky doesn't want the team to be too weak up front in the second half.

He also doesn't want to hand West Ham our game plan for a week Sunday on a plate!

Rudy & Miller will be our first choice strikers when we play West Ham.

should be interesting as we did look good in the 433 formation but maybe malky will be a bit more defensive playing away to West Ham. As for Rudy he still looked very raw and im not sure hes ready for our starting 11 yet, although he's better than Parkin!

im sure we will play 4 5 1 at west ham, marshall ,mcnoughton, hudson ,gerrard, taylor ,cowie ,kiss, gunnarson ,conway ,with whits in a free role, and miller or mason up front ,could even start ernie on his own or gestade ,any one of those 4 could do the job, and theres a good case for any of them, the one good thing about this squad is there is not a stand out starting 11 like we had in the past ,,its looking like we have good alternatives for every position , happy days. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
