Any 2 from 3 with a combination of Hudson, Gerrard and Keinan are a match for any other Championship team. Add to that McNaughton and Blake as back up and we have a good core of central defenders. Gypes would have to improve to get ahead of the others.
The main problem will be keeping the third centre back happy when not playing.

Daya you do talk a lot of sense mate ...... I personally feel that Gerrard and Hudson cant play togethor in the same team coz between them they are too slow and have a lack of understanding between them that gives soft goals away ? Gyepes is poor and League 1 at best now and Keinen is ok but he's too lightweight to be a centre half ( compare them all to Johnson and Loovens ) . Naylor aint gonna start lets be honest here and maybe Earnie and Miller have seen better days BUT they should do ok at this level ....... maybe Mason or Gestede will be a surprize package this season ? Plus I think Conway will get more goals than Burke did for us , Im going for another top 10 finish maybe top 6

conway wing, will do better this season than burke last yr...

whitts, will be a key player this yr if used correctly...

cowie, player who has a great engine and contributed 13 assists last yr at watford..

mason, could he be the unknown hero...

kiss, will be better than drinkwater, koumas, jet etc..

miller, will have a good season and will score more than chopra did last yr..

our midfield this yr is much better equipped , defensively were are also stronger.. and bywater was shocking..

over the years it dosnt matter who we have up front, ther service we provide our strikers with will always get goals..

earnie, jerome, chopra, bothroyd season after season we have always had a striker in the top championship goals table..

yes we make take abit of time to gel etc... but i will eat my hat if we dont finish in the top ten this yr...

transfer window is not yet closed and mm knows where else he would like to strengthen and this will only add to a decent team..
