no, you need to do your CBT (compulsory basic test) first

Used to ride but not anymore. Used to commute on a GS500 which was fine, last bike bike I rode was a Blackbird. Frightening machine slow on the bends but in a straight line incredible. Not ridden anything new in a long time. I did direct access about 10 years ago, so free to ride anything.

Recommend if you do get a 125 get a new pipe on it as that will be where its restricted.

i wouldve with mine but being four stroke, it wouldve been a nightmare and not really worth it

ive done my theory and have done another CBT in the last year so might do the direct access course just to get it over and done with before they change all the tests etc

Personally I think direct access is nuts. 3 days training test then any bike you want !!

I have a FULL motorcycle licence and can tell you that you CAN NOT ride on a motorway with a CBT only! Get yourself a weeks crash course ben - lessons + CBT + theory + test (think mine cost me about £650 5 yrs ago then I went out and spent £6000 on a Gsxr 600 :ayatollah:
