This election will be the hardest for me to decide, I've always voted Labour, but feel the country needs a change.

The problem I have is that I can't bring myself to vote tory, and don't believe that Labour have it in them to sort this country out.

So where do I go? PR anyone? :o

well said

dont be fooled by the bnp

they might try and suck up to the working class welsh and scottish but their hardcore support in england hate the welsh and dont believe anything else

I think everyone knows that immigration has to be dealt with ....and thats whay the bnp got 1 million people to vote for them

so..the point has been made and its up to the major parties to take the issue seriously

but dont be fooled by this lot , they are run by nazis in suits

and if they ever got in power the country would go down the pan far faster than people think its is now

i will be voting ukip again, the country should decide it's own policies and laws not be dictated by europe, and we should decide who we leave in or goes out of the country, the eu costs this country billions every year the only country's that benefit are the poorer ones who get hand outs, the eu is also un-democratic we were promised a referendum on the lisbon treaty by gordon brown but we didn't get one , so we now have a eu president that nobody in europe voted for most people including myself don't even now his name.
vote ukip

I'd rather be a Jack than vote BNP.

If you're considering voting for them you need educating and if that doesn't change your mind seek psychiatric counselling.

There really has to be something seriously wrong with you to vote for them.

Tory time for a change. This Gov had no idea how to deal with the credit crunch.

I hate this Labour government. They have sold out to the Labour party I use to respect when I was back living in Wales.

Although at the time they were too socialist to survive, this being early 1980s, I still had faith in a central Labour party. These idiots in charge have crossed over that line, stolen Tory policies and have sold out.

Even so I likeed my Labour MP here in Derby because he represented what I believed to be the Labour party it should be. However because of his masters I would vote for the party that would dethrone him from his seat in the nest election. Sadly the guy passed away at Christmas so there is going to be a by-election soon. So I will vote for whoever has the best chance of dethroning his replacement.

Anything is better than Labour theyve done A PR on us.

I will be Voting Tory, I know it annoys people but at least I am honest.

Also anyone who will put a halt to immigration I would also Vote for, at least I am Honest.

Halting immigration is a complicated one because we need it it certain aspects of the economy. For instance Wales and England do not produced enough doctors (not anywhere near!) to satisfy the needs of the NHS etc. Same with nurses. So until we can start training enough doctors and nurses we will need to bring them in from elsewhere. In the 50's and 60's if it had not been for the Asian doctors we would not have had a health service in the valleys.

As we are in the EU so cannot stop people moving to the UK from these countries in masses... wrongly in my opionion although some people from other parts of Europe have an excellent work ethic compared to many UK nationals. I have a Greek guy working for me and he is brilliant.

For non-EU immigration I think we need to stem the flow from Pakistan and places like that as there is absolutely no reason for them to still be arriving here unless they are needed for key positions. Immigration into the UK from Africa is absolutely tiny.. literally handful and most are asylum seekers which are a different kettle of fish. Working with many asylum seekers I totally understand and accept they need to leave their own countries I just think that collectively the EU member states should be sharing responsibilities and not letting the responsibility fall on the UK due to an inadequate government, control and policy.

For illegal immigrants it's really been a failing of the government to not control and eject people who are illegal here. Shame on them.

But you reap what you sow. In Uganda during the 2nd World War, when Uganda was a coloney, we took the Acholi people and made them fight for Britian - they were excellent at jungle and desert warfare. 1000's died fighting for Britian and we have given them very little (in fact we have made their lives worse) in return. They are still proud of being involved in the 2nd world war and helping Britian but basically feel shafted.. which I totally understand.

the bnp may say nice things on their election leaflets but if they ever got in they would be kicking everyone out

even people who have com eover here and worked their arses off

the example of indian doctors in the valleys in the fities being a prime example

put simply, if these people hadnt come to work then many people in that area would have gone without local doctors

its not long ago that thousands of brits would move abroad to work in the building trade in germany and holland and belgium

what the parties of today have to sort out is illegal immigration , not polish people coming here for 6 months to work then going back home, thats the way europe works nowadays

BNP and my family and close friends are. not out of racism, out of my beliefs,i want my children growing up as british being the majority,if these migrants keep coming and milking our system and breed at the rate they do,british born and raised will become the minority.therefore our country will be even worse than it is now.lets get a proper points system in place like in OZ. BRITISH JOBS FOR BRITISH PEOPLE in my opinion

Totally agree.

The net effect of legal immigration is positive in economic and financial in terms. It's when people start adding illegal immigration into the mix and tars everyone with the same brush that confuses them. They are two seperate issues but the BNP want to keep them all in the same 'pot' as it helps prey on peoples frustrations and fears.

To be a legitimate immigrant from anywhere other than the EU is tough... you have to take tests that cost money and waiver your right to most benefits, something the BNP does not like to publicise as it doesn't fit in with their 'all immigtants are scroungers' ethos.
