no footballers, but was in primary school with Michael phillips, jonathan davies and secondary school with Rhys Priestland few years younger, and Stephen Jones was a few years older

Martin Giles lived localy and i think he was a few years below me at Iltyds..His City top was still Hanging up in the GrandSlam in Pentwyn the last time i was there...

Same senior school down here in Devon (he was 3/4 years above me) as George Friend, who played for Exeter and Wolves, he's now at Doncaster I believe.

Didn't go to school with any footballer, but my Nan and Aunt lived next door to Alan Devonshire for about four years. This was around 1980 when the Hammers won the cup and he started playing for England. Used to rib him when Rangers would stuff them.

craig bellamy went to rumney high about 15yrs after me :lol: but we did have some good footballers in my year.kevin beynon.gary evans.and dean robinson.imo, :old: loved games in school.football.cross country :roll: loved all sports but detested the egg :evil:

literally people used to rinse him all day, minging, megged him on the tennis courts but he was pretty good, just used to play constantly, even took a football to a house party

Didnt go to school with him but had many a kick a bout with Earnie as a youngster. He was always a special player, you knew he'd end up doin well in football.
