He had a poor first game but got a goal, needs to improve but I'm sure he will with games.

Sorry don't agree, he was brought to do a job upfront. He has to do more than just score otherwise we are in trouble especially if earnie is alongside him.

He done his job Sunday. Simple.

Get a striker alongside to do the hold up play and stick Earnie on the bench.

Earnie is not in the same league as Kenny.

Could have had a hat rick if Earnshaw had passed, there is no way Earnie would have passed that ball in the last minute side netting as usual

I think its unfair to say he had a poor game against West Ham.

Our midfield struggled for long periods to come to terms with a very
good West Ham midfield, so the service wasnt there. Add to that, he
had only played about half an hour with his team mates before Sunday,
add to that the upheaval of moving from turkey, add to that the fact
that he was totally lacking match fitness...

Take all that into consideration...

then remember that he was still there in the 91st minute, and worked
his bollocks off to bring that ball under control and bury it...

I think he had a remarkable first game :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
