What was the matter with the Tivo Carl - why were you disappointed?

not full internet

cant connect wireless keyboard even though there are 2 usb ports both not actvated

the search feature on the music videos is plainly ridiculous, you cannot search a name by spelling it, you have to go the letter ie. M = Michael Jackson then scroll through pages and pages until you reach the song you want but due to the speed of scroll this can take around 10 minutes.

IMO - no better than the V+

Except the guide is better looking

If you want my opinion 3DTV is an absolute waste of time. It's just a gimmick that hasn't caught on as predicted! my oldman went out and bout a 50" LG 3DTV with home cinema system and Blu-Ray all thrown in - paid about £2200 for all of it,and I dont even think he's watched anything in 3D yet!

For best viewing on 3DTV it has to be 1.6m from your face - almost virtually straight on - so no laying down on the floor or on angled tv - and you have to sit there with a great bloody heavy set of chargeable glasses on! WTF is that all about! :?

Honestly, Carl - Dont waste your money mate! Stick with a good sound system HD & Blu-Ray - maybe get an LED HD TV - but don't bother with 3D - There aren't many channels and software available because of the time it's hit the market during a global meltdown! and because most media outlets expect it to be a big FAIL! and may even start phasing it out soon......

Anyone thats spent that kind of money on a TV that hasn't really made its mark is f*cking mad!

Carl what was wrong with the Tivo? I was considering ditching my HD package which is £10 a month extra and just getting the Tivo box (so saving £7). Even tho I have the HD channels I forget and end up watching it in normal TV
