RUGBY IN CARDIFF TODAY

Sat Feb 13, 2010 9:49 pm

Sadly I wasnt there at Chelsea today(My Daughters Birthday), but I will be at the places We take 2-500 :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
I took My Family shopping once the Wales Rugby was playing, hoping I wouldnt see any of them. Sorry but I now cant stand them even more now.
In St Davids 2 they were everywhere, NO I DONT MEAN FANS, but people wearing the Tops, the match was on and they werent even watching it in the Stadium or on TV lol.
We went for food, there were more Red shirts eating, No TV there lol.
Then later on there were some falling out of pubs drunk, but No police to arrest them.
ALSO On the Radio it was Rugby first before Our GREAT MATCH, yet OUr match was first.
THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT SPORTS FANS, 3 TIMES A YEAR DAY OUT OR PISS UP.
FOOTBALL IN MY OPINION IS THE NO1 SPORT IN WALES.
Also I believe in Cardiff, we have the second most registered park football sides in Englad/Wales.

f*cking hate the sport, Annis.

Can't stand it.

The people who were wearing the red tops of Wales but not watching the game, will be wearing the blue shirt of Cardiff when we make the Premiership :ayatollah:

That's all it will take to rid this country of the terrible rugby fascination.

Did anyone see the BBC Welsh news last night. They had that Claire Summers bird at Glynneath rugby club and they panned across to some of the drinkers in there and one bloke dropped his kilt, nothing pn underneath and his knob and bollocks were then on show to the whole country who would have been watching. Pretty shocking and he must have known women and children were watching. Was he arrested or was it high jinx?

chill out lads / lasses about rugby and it's followers. They are a different breed to us so let them enjoy there sport and let us enjoy ours !

at my local rugby club there are loads of junior rugby players that play on sunday mornings but follow the city on saturdays .loads wear city tops to training in the week

are we to exclude these people from going to watch us ?

humphries i know at least 20 young rugby players that play for rumney rugby that are mad passionate about cardiff city and go to every home game season ticket holders the lot and some even went to chelsea today .

they are playing for there local rugby club tomorrow . what's wrong with that ?

it hurts me when people just slag off rugby for the sake of it . i understand about the media attention but surely we're big enough to rise above all that now ?

Played rugby all my life was allways shit at football but always followed the city (hard not to when you lived opposite the ninian pub growing up), I go to the odd blues game and always watch Wales in international rugby.

Football got its majority of knobhead fans and so has rugby, let it all be I say.
