Who was in charge of Leeds when we beat them with 9 men, was that Wise?

Otherwise, I think we can say his time at Newcastle was unsuccessful!!

Yes, I would. He was paid off because he was unsuccessful at what he did.

As for Jones not being successful in his playing career, I thought we were talking about Wise?

Caretaker manager at Saints before Burley? Wasn't that in the Prem?

Has he ever blown a massive goal difference and points advantage?

But still, the only person who can ever be critical of him is Sir Alex Ferguson. Wenger? What's he won recently, pah...

Wise failed to win the FA Cup Final when managing Millwall, what did Jones do when given a similar oppotunity with Cardiff?

Dennis Wise is widely renowned as a cockney prick so whatever Dave Jones says that is negative about him, I have to agree! :D

Jones has done well for us and others. Guided us to the FA Cup Final on a shoestring, constantly improving our league position, guided Wolves to the Premiership, did well with Southampton and wasn't a bad player either.

Wise does have this undeserved self righteousness about his manner which is laughable.

Saying all this though, Daya, do you have source about Jones stating this? What context was it in?

so the answer to the questions are.....

no, he hasnt ever got anyone promoted

and was not really a proper manager at premiership level either

cheers
