good post, i agree though, the footage filmed by fans will be nothing compared to the footage that the police have, so i wouldnt worry about it.

As Cf39 says the "video" cameras in London are state of the art. A lot were replaced over the last few years on the pretence of the muslim terrorists especially on strategic routes in/out of the city, west end, etc Kings Road is one such road. I have seen the quality of these types of cameras (for road/traffic safety purposes) and they are nearly HDTV quality in that they can zoom in on the recordings with very little loss of quality (pixilation or some such word). If they've got your mug on dvd/disc or whatever they use these days then run it through the facial recognition software then you are truely bolloxed. This is one reason why plod film at all games even when your doing nothing as the software is sophisticated enough to "recognise" you from other recordings so it doesn't sherlock holmes to pinpoint individuals and assist in identification. As to the legality of such underhanded tactics, I'm sure a good solicitor could prove the "evidence" inadmissable as far as I know (very little on the subject I admit) this sort of evidence gathering/comparison can only be used under anti terrorism activities. I wouldn't put it past this lefty socialist government to class City fans as potential welsh terrorists though especially if you were committing the henious crime of smoking whilst doing the deed so to speak!! Ah and don't use the airports to flee the country, they've got even better ones! If in doubt don one of those bukaka things, speak with a heavy but broken valley accent and claim political assylum or something.
