I missed Chelsea away but I dont care my Daughter Annaise comes first.

But now I am going to miss the Jacks Home, I havent missed a Jacks home or away game since 1978, even when we were Banned twice I went.

My Wifes best friend is getting Married in the Mumbles on the same day and My Daughters are Bridesmaids, then the following day off to Majorca, but back in time for Reading home.

But I will be going to Ipswich, Coventry,Leicester,Palace, etc etc Away :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Like your style mate, you'll be waiting to goad the Jack Bstds on their own territory when they return defeated! Joking aside, its a natural progression that at some point and generally speaking, the football should take a back seat, even for the most passionate and loyal of supporters, which you undoubtedly are and family, work has to take priority. However, I would also add that if there's one game that you would want to be at this season, it has to be the Jacks home, especially given our league positions and the fact that the atmosphere will be bristling as its a late kick off!

Family always comes first. It's gutting that the two events have coincided but football will be there every day. I know it's a 'big game' but it's no more important than next week's game or the week after.

i`ll never forget my sisters wedding (the year after we won div3 in 93). first home game vs orient and in the afternoon we couldn`t find my brother anywhere. (This was before everyone had a mobile dont forget). He returned at about 6pm and when asked by my sister he replied he went home for a rest as he was "feeling sick". He looked at me and put his hand in his suit jacket pocket and revealed the top corner of which was a city programme. He attended the match in his suit fair play

Annis, family always comes first. However, if a couple of days before the wedding you have a storming row with Joanne, maybe she'll uninvite you and you can go to the game. Don't tell her I said that though. Shhhh!!
