One day in 1977 I remember it well

Mon Mar 01, 2010 2:25 pm

I went to my old mans house to pick him up to watch the City.
He said "I've had a guts full of football I'm not going anymore"He didn't either till the day he died.
I could never understand him.Until now.I feel the same way.
To quote a old blues song "The thrill has gone!"

I understand where you are coming from mate (although I thought 1977 wasn't bad Spurs and all that), but for me the high of Wembley was magnified because of the dire days of the 1980's & 90's.

All that's changed is we gone back to where we normally are, in the shite
