It's the same every season in the championship as you can always make a case for at least half the teams. Must admit though I think the past couple of seasons will not be repeated for the forseeable future in terms of the relative low standard. Good job we have MM then

Agreed, based on our CURRENT squad we will be mid table. I think 8-12 is realistic. We do need to strengthen. Blackburn, Bolton & Wolves all have strong squads but I think Brighton & Sheff Weds will also do well. Huddersfield have also strengthened.

Then come the ones that will be there or thereabouts: Blackpool, Boro, Leicester.

Brum have lost a fair few players already and may lose a few more with some premier interest in Burke and Davies. Think they want Zigic of their wage bill aswell.
Watford just got Zola as their manager, only time will tell with them if they will do well or not, don't forget Zola hasn't made any signings so I can't see them doing that well (yet).
Leeds are still in for a massive season of rebuilding
Forest lost many players at the end of the season. Can't see them doing well
We always say leicester will do well with the amount of cash they spend, but they failed to get to the play offs again.
Brighton should be in the mix, along with Boro Hull and Blackpool

I remember last season's signings were going to allow Leicester to run away with the league!
