I think its about time the FA pass a new law about the ownership of clubs. Not just the fit and proper persons test, but all new owners should prove they have the funds to run a club, and also that the club will be run within its means and the expenditure doesn't outweigh the income. Also, I think owners should not be able to secure loans against the club, as per the Glaziers.

This month alone, us, Southend and Pompey due in court and it soesn't look brilliant for any of us.

Manchester United only stopped being in the red due to the sale for massive money of Cristiano Ronaldo. What happens if the Sheikhs pull out of Man City?? Or Abramovich pulls out of Chelsea. Apparently Abramovich has a contingency in place to eradicate the debts with him, but they'll still have a playing squad on massive money expecting to be paid and a dry well to do so.

hurts me to say this but Swansea seem to be doing everything right on and off the field on a tiny budget .

If a Championship side can pay a player 20k p.w. then there is something seriously wrong with a club.

Agents, wreckless directors, mercenary players, demanding fans, Sky TV and a premiership desire based on a quick buck are all to blame.

In fairness do you enjoy following the City?

Most of us were dragged down there by mates/ parents as kids and we have this morbid interest in a club that 90% of the time are struggling.

At times I wish I didnt supoport them because they give me more grief than it's worth it......of course it's like an addiction.

We all know that if we were a mid table team in Div 1 we'd get around 8k.......which means 65% of our fans are sunshine fans.

I couldnt care less if we ended up 12th this season......I want a team that puts in plemty of effort......and of course on salaries that reflect their ability.

Now as for the debt......... don't get me started.

I was supporting CCFC back in Durban's dungeon days and it didnt get anymore shite than that , but now we were given a bit of hope and a new stadium but at what cost ? Sam was criticised for spneding big on players and salaries from money he didnt have but now the current regime takes the piss , a lot of DJ's signings leave a hell of a lot to be desired !

Well thankfully I started following them in the 60's ......a very decent team.

Durban's time.....what a nightmare.

Stoke City away in the Cup.....we had a full back ...Kerr? We sarcastically called him Jossimar (sp?)

Durban once came out with a classic...... Anyone can go out and buy Rush, Lawrenson etc......

I thought yeah? What a clown.

If our team put plenty of effort in and loses, i got no problem with that..

Its nights like last night that really get to me, they were so un-proffesional, they played like a team of strangers..
