Can see it all ending in tears for them if they havent put relegation clauses in their contracts.

Going down.

prime example of a team of individuals who simply cant gel, apparently hughes has lost the dressing room again(a QPR season ticket holder told me this)
id imagine theyll throw more millions about in jan aswell

Lost the dressingroom? The players have only been there 1 day

Massively overated manager

Re: QPR

Awful Manager and living off his name as a player --- his performance V Russia when he failed to qualify Wales showed how poor a Manager he was.

Re: QPR

Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:29 pm

I thought he did really well at blackburn and fulham (until his attitude toward them changed)

Re: QPR

Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:43 pm

They have enough to do ok now. 3 worse teams than them this season once they get in gear

Re: QPR

Sat Sep 01, 2012 11:45 pm

They only took a few hundred fans there too. Their fans lost interest in Prem football already! :ayatollah:

yes stated this on earlier thread he did cost us in that game! and england at wembley they were there for the taking but to defensive minded just like hes been for club teams! :D

Re: QPR

Very average manager and IMO he has made a bit of a mess of qpr.
All those transfers and all they can muster up is a pair of fulham rejects upfront :?

Re: QPR

Good at getting attackers going, very poor defensively. There's still a lot of time yet. But I could see QPR staying up, but MH not being manager in May.

Here's hoping. If they went down it would be amazing. Even better if they went on to do a Portsmouth.

Careful what you wish for. From where I'm looking Cardiff could also find themselves in a whole heap of financial shit if you don't go up this season & the Malaysians pull out.

Also for the record our squad was piss poor & new recruits were vital, how does anyone expect 12 players to gel in 2 league games?

We have bought quality & once an understanding is found between players we will be more than ok.

I hope QPR stay up. And think they will tbh. :ayatollah:

£50,000 a week on a reserve goalkeeper --- not good business.

Cmon Stan, you sign Robert Green on 45k a week who is no better than Paddy Kenny, then realise after 2 games hes not good enough and replace him. Now stuck with Green on a 2.5m a year contract. Kamikazee spending and just typical of the way QPR have been signing players for signings sakes. Nearly 30 new players in 12 months. Some are average players, no doubt on stupid wages that will be difficult to shift. Bonkers.

How about

Jose Bosingwa free

Rob Green free

Junior Hoilett free

Ryan Nelsen free

Andrew Johnson free

Fabio loan

Pretty good business that eh?

All on silly wages though Stan hence the point I made in the OP. If you havent put relegation clauses in you will be f*cked.

Re: QPR

Sun Sep 02, 2012 8:57 am

By all accounts Rob Greens preparation to the first game of the season was poor not to mention 2 major mistakes in the first two friendlys followed by a howler at home to Swansea & very shaky at Norwich, Hughes was presented with the opportunity to sign one of the best gk's in the world & took it.

Not ideal but if our board sanctioned it they obviously agreed with it.

People need to remember Fulham failed to win the first 6 of their Premiership games last season & finished 9th. 3 games in means nothing, a season is over 38 games.

Are you boys always so premature? :D

We made £46m in Sky money last season rising to £60m this season, I'm pretty sure wages are covered.

But don't let facts get in the way of things eh ;)

Fulham were already an established top 10 side though

I can see Redknapp in charge of QPR before the season is out

I can see him at Wet Spam myself.

Take no notice Stan, as you say early days, we ourselves have to gel, some posters have no sense

The money wont cover the wages if you get relegated. Id be surprised 60m covers the wage bill this season.

I know mate you're right pretty  really.

We'll see after 38 games.

Re: QPR

Lot of people are saying we're the QPR of the championship , I disagree . But hopefully our new players will gel quicker than theirs . Not really bothered by other teams . But I think QPR will survive and hopefully we will play them in the premiership next season .

£60m is from Sky.

Have you forgotten about our other numerous multi million pound sponsorship deals? Gate money, merchandise etc? Oh riiiight.

Also if worst came to the worst I guess you've never heard of parachute payments. My apologies.

Try again :)

Id doubt very much gate receipts for a 20,000 seater stadium and pararchute payments will cover over 100m a year wage bill

Bye Bye QPR
