The staggering odds that say a Euro 2016 semi-final place is more likely for Wales than a rugby win against New Zealand

If you fancy Coleman’s boys to go all the way and win the tournament, you can gets odds of 80-1 in most betting shops :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Wales to reach semi-final 10-1 (Ladbrokes)

Wales to top their group 5-1 (Ladbrokes)

Wales to win the tournament 80-1 (Ladbrokes)

Such is the lack of confidence in Warren Gatland's men toppling the world champions that Gareth Bale and co reaching the last four is priced worse with bookmakers

Warren Gatland’s Wales are less likely to beat New Zealand in the first Test on Saturday week than Gareth Bale and his team are to go all the way to the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

That’s according to bookmakers SkyBet who have priced the rugby team at a staggering 12-1 to beat the All Blacks for the first time on Kiwi soil at Auckland’s Eden Park on June 11.

The odds on Wales causing a shock against the world champions are considerably longer than those placed on England to beat Australia and Ireland toppling South Africa.

Eddie Jones’ Grand Slam champions are rated at 5-4 by William Hill to get the better of the Wallabies in the first Test in Brisbane while Ireland are priced at 21-4 for the win against the Springboks in Capetown.

While New Zealand are the number one ranked team in the world, the 12-1 odds on Wales in a two horse race are an indication of how their stock has fallen since the World Cup.

It appears there is greater optimism around Chris Coleman’s footballers to reach the last four of the Euro finals in France, with 10-1 on offer at Ladbrokes for them to reach a stage only the wildest optmists would expect.

If you fancy Coleman’s boys to go all the way and win the tournament, you can gets odds of 80-1 in most betting shops.

I think you'll find water on the moon before Wales beat New Zealand.

Wales haven't beaten the All Blacks since 1953 - and no chance of that happening in the forthcoming tour.

 Maybe Sneggy meant there is more chance of the next World Cup being played on the moon than Wales beating the All Blacks

Mind you I fancy a punt at those odds
