Seem to remember we stumbled over the line that season, even in this game ,thank god Leo took it upon himself to carry us single handed that day to promotion so this photo sums up the day perfectly,my god he gave the York back four a right going over that day, sadly there were City fans still giving him stick after the third goal went in,but a real hero for me.

Great day that was. Leo was superb...at the time 350k or 400k was a lot of of money and fans expected more. Leo for me overall repaid his fee. Gavin gordon. Dave hughes and many others did not.

Gavin Gordon five goals in one game, kicked Rio Ferdinand up in the air (nearly), city legend.

As The Trooper said, Gavin Gordon did hell of a job on Ferdinand in the Leeds game! About all he ever did mind. Another waste Andy Saville, anybody remember that excuse for a gash?

A few of us were slagging Leo off that day then he went and scored (didn't he get 3?). We got absolutely hammered and I left my phone and wallet in a pub. Thankfully a Cardiff lad handed it in. Met Hull City at the station after too. Wankers.

Remember that game well.
I had Vip tickets for the York grandstand.
Russell Perrett threw me his top.
Bobby could in the bar later called me an hooligan because he saw me in the grandstand.
I told him I wad entitled as I had a ticket and he apologised.
He thought i climbed up to the grandstand from the field.
Didn't like Gould after that.
Spoke to Leggy and Earnie after the game.
Great day in all.
