Formation for the start of the season???

Personally I would go 3-5-2

Bamba, Manga and Morrison (Connelly and Pelts as back up)

Jazz and Bennett as wingbacks (Patterson when fit)

Tomlin, Gunnerson and Ralls in Midfield (not much back up for these 3)

Zahore and Ward up front (Pilks and Saadi in reserve)

However where does that leave our wide men Harris, Holliet, No one, Mendes and Kennedy???(The fact he has resigned Harris and Holliett means they will probably be in the team or at least the squad)

So I would assume Warnock is more likely to go 4-4-2 or 4-5-1

I'm really not sure what Warnock has in mind..what does everyone think??

I don't see how you can say the exact formation he'll play.
It depends on who's fit, who's on form and who the opposition is. As we saw last season, Warnock can change tactics depending. This season even more so.

Not that easy to predict I think and we may see changes as the season progresses until a preferred first team lineup is settled upon. But, very importantly, Warnock has a good many options to try out. He didn't have much of that last season.

Exactly, there's no one formation or one starting 11. He may play 5 at the back (two wing backs) away some games and a more attacking formation with 2 strikers at home for example. Shut up shop against the bigger teams with loïc instead of tomlin... It goes on. Fact is we've got lots of options now whereas we really didn't last year.

And if we can't pick it how is an opposition manager supposed to prepare?
