Who is your favourite Cardiff City player past or present?
The choice will probably be personal to you for some reason so let us know why in the comments
Does not have to be any of these players.
Mine are Tony Evans, Billy Ronson, Phil Dwyer and Jason Perry
Present player Aron Gunnarsson
For me they all played for the shirt, had passion, never say die and had a connection with our fans

Jimmy gilligan - first season I watched the city as a seven year old used to go with my dad season ticket in the old grandstand loved it.
Peter whittingham - just loved how easy he made the game look and some of those goals will live with me forever.

Ian Gibson a dynamic midfielder .
Tony Evans in my option our best ever striker and Graham Kavanagh a legend so gave everything for City.
There many others who I could have chosen over the years. The few matches Robin Friday played stick in my mind, he had it all , aggressive and skillful. The way he bullied Fulham who had Bobby Moore , Rodney Marsh and George Best in their team, in front of 30,000 at Ninian Park as we win 3 nil is something I won't forget. A quality player who didn't fulfil his full potential unfortunately

Gotta be Whitts for me - word legend is thrown around too much but he deserves it.
Growing up though I always loved Cohen Griffith he'd fall over so often so but always somehow get back to his feet and beat his man.
Also I loved Damon Searle never forget his run against Man City in the cup when he beat about six players bringing the ball out of defence.
Oh and if we're allowing loanees gotta add Eddie Newton - seriously how many loan players get carried off the pitch by the fans on their last game!

Graham Kavanagh. Playing center mid myself I always looked up to him as a player and a captain. Hard tackling, good passing, great leader and not a bad right foot on him - just ask Leeds.

Gotta be John Buchanon for his unstoppable penalties . Dave Bennett incredible down the wing . And tarky micaleff for his continual sideways runs getting no where lol. Loved Billy Ronson too. Phil dwyer and Lyndon Jones always solid in the back and don't forget Bazil lol

Although he was only here for a short period of time it has to be Jason Koumas.
I've never seen a player like it from the first spell.
I also loved Steve McPhail
Current has to be Hoilett or NML

From Players past I would say Ian Gibson an amazing midfield dynamo and unfortunately never seeing him play i would have to mention the greatest Welsh Player of all time the gentle giant that was John Charles, from what I understand was past his best when he joined city
Present Player: If the question was asked last season I would say Peter Whittingham ( that wand of a left foot) but of our present squad, Junior Hoillet is emerging as one of the best players in the championship

Carl Dale, Earnie, Andy Legg and Whitts.
