Agreed, poor manager in my opinion and boring.

I think Warnock would do brilliant with the current squad they have!

In my opinion we got rid of Sam Allardyce a bit to quick. I think he was the manager to finally sort England out

England have not lost a qualifier since 2009 - think it 36/37 matches unbeaten - shame we so shit when we get to tournaments and that's what I think Allardyce would have managed.

Southgate will get found out as the football we play is dire :o

agree - although didnt the likes of erikksson, capello, mcclaren also get 'found out'? capello in particular had as good a CV as you get in football, prior to managing england.

your previous history suggests the coach will not make much difference.

coleman had a pretty forgettable career prior to taking the national job, but he has gareth bale dragging a fairly mediocre team through, and a set of players with genuine camaraderie (that gary speed fostered). to use your phrase, i think coleman will be found out when he has to manage a team of average players without an elite player.

ultimately, i don't think southgate will do any worse than those before him.

If England make it out of their group they'll have done ok they're a pretty average team. Bar Kane none of this lot would of got into the england teams of the mid 00s

Got rid of him a but quick?... He was doing deals behind your FA's back and got caught red handed. He disgraced himself and your country. How could they have kept him??? Jesus christ lol

And that team still did nothing special itself. Quarter finals at best for them in Russia if they get a decent draw not of the same level as the likes of France, Brazil, Germany etc.
