“ Cardiff City to sign defender “
Rolf Feltscher, who was on trial with Cardiff City, is set to sign a permanent deal at the club.
Respected journalist, Alan Nixon, has just tweeted this:
“Looks like Cardiff City will do a deal for Rolf Feltscher. Also had LA Galaxy interest. Prefers UK football for now.”
Neil Warnock has been tracking Feltscher for months.

Back in September
Feltscher, 26, can play anywhere across the back line but appears as a left-back for his South American country.
The Venezuelan international has just come to England after playing against Colombia and the Argies in World Cup qualifiers.
Feltscher and his mates had two heroic performances.
He was unlucky to turn in a cross as Argentina equalised against his country in a 1-1 draw on Monday night.
The Blues target has played in Europe for years and was with Real Zaragoza last season, on loan from Getafe.
Feltscher had also played in Switzerland, Italy and Germany in a wandering career.

Left back. We need cover there.

He looks huge and muscular up against Messi in that photo, however, he's just a shade under 6ft. It never hurts anyone's CV to be pictured jostling with Messi, does it!

Agreed,
How are you Latcher mate?

He used to be an attacking right-back and was once seen as the successor to Lichtsteiner, when he played for Swiss U.21s. He's not one-footed, but definitely better on the right, though he now plays more at centre-back. As part of a back three ,he would be a good fit I'd say. He won't be coming here to sit on the bench, that's for sure!

I trust Warnock could be a good signing

We need a central midfield play maker and a top class striker and I think we would win this league

We need a left back, and great if he can play across the back 4 surely one of if not both of Connolly and or Jazz need to go now.

I think Connolly's time has to be up here now, time for him to move on and find another club. He will get skinned playing right/left back.

He's a predominantly right-sided player!

Cardiff City beat Los Angeles Galaxy to defender Rolf Feltscher?
By Darren Plant, Reporter
Defender Rolf Feltscher has reportedly agreed to sign for Cardiff City on a free transfer.
Last month, it was claimed that Feltscher had been training with the Championship outfit ahead of a probable move to the Welsh capital, but no deal came to fruition.
However, according to The Sun, Cardiff have finally won the race to sign the centre-back, despite late interest from MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.
Feltscher has been a free agent since spending the second half of last season on loan at second-tier Spanish side Real Zaragoza, where he made nine league appearances.
However, the 27-year-old was part of the Venezuela team which secured a draw with Argentina as early as September, although the well-travelled player did put through his own net.
