Cardiff City eyeing up move for Middlesbrough midfielder
By Harry Mail

Cardiff City want to sign Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Forshaw, according to HITC Sport.

Neil Warnock is on the look out for a couple of signings to bolster his squad. The Bluebirds are currently 3rd in the Championship and two points off Derby County in 2nd.

Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Forshaw is now a target. The 26 year-old has yet to feature for Boro under their new boss, Tony Pulis, and his future at the Riverside is in doubt. He could well leave in this transfer window for the right price.

Forshaw is an experienced central midfielder and has racked up just under 200 career appearances. He would be a useful addition for promotion chasing Cardiff as he has been promoted before with Boro in 2016.

Born in Liverpool, Forshaw came up through the Everton academy and went onto be a key player for their reserve team but never quite made it into their senior team. He got his first taste of first-team experience on loan at Brentford in 2012.

The Bees then signed him on a permanent deal in 2013. He became a key player for the London club, playing exactly 100 games and scoring 11 goals in his two seasons there.

He was snapped up by Wigan Athletic, who were then in the Championship, in June 2014 but spent just 7 months with the Latics before leaving them for Middlesbrough. He has played for Boro since and has even enjoyed a stint in the Premier League with them.

Cardiff City could be his next destination if Neil Warnock gets his man.

Has he played against us recently does anybody know?

Would much prefer Adam Clayton!

Good article on this lad from 2016 - MOTD pundits were praising him which sounds promising.

Yeah....Adam Clayton excellent. My mate's a Hudds fan and he said that he was very highly rated there. The wrong Adam!

Why would a club who are not short of money sell a player of his ability to a promotion rival when they know we are struggling massively with injuries?

Better for them to let us suffer or find a poorer replacement and give themselves a better chance of promotion before us .
