Ralls looking good

Chance for Ralls
A loose pass from Mendez-Laing allows Cardiff through, and it’s Ralls who tries a finessed finish, but succeeds only in striking it straight at Ruiter.
A decent chance goes begging for the midfielder, no power in the shot.

Best chance so far for Ralls
Fantastic strike from Ralls, whose effort is well saved by Ruiter.
He met that beautifully on his left foot after Paterson’s throw was knocked down.
Hoilett’s corner is punched clear by the ‘keeper.

Hoilett’s cross teases everyone and Zohore can’t quite get his head to it.
Sunderland clear, but it’s obvious that Cardiff are growing into this encounter. They look dangerous.

Brilliant take by Patterson. The spin on that ball made it difficult to get any shot on target there. Ok had the break with the deflection but Patterson still needed to be alert to make contact with that spin.
We are alert, Sunderland are not and that is the difference between the 2 teams.
