I know many Mackems and every time they are relegated and go through many bad times, they always turn up in good numbers away, No matter how far the distance, time, weather,on tv,position in the League :thumbright:

Also when they are going up,they are up there with the best. I saw them at Ninian Park with 10,000 Mackems and I once travelled with them to Tranmere and they took 12,500 fans, 12:30pm. Kick off times don't bother them, Sunderland is what matters :thumbright:

Personally I believe they are a massive club, but hardly ever win anything.

Terrible performance by them so far with 15 minutes to go.

I think we can get another one.

Long way to go to see such a poor performance from their team. Very similar to when we were beaten 4-0 by them in the prem away, with a player sent off

Fantastic effort from them, absolutely superb. 12.30 is just wrong. But that aside do I feel for them? Nope, good to see us win.

Spot on. That Premier League game was on a Sunday with a midday kick off. Got on the coach at about 4.30am :o , Juan Cala got sent off and we got gubbed 4-0. Twelve hours on the coach there and back.

The following Saturday we were away to Newcastle and lost 3-0 to confirm our relegation. Worked out that in less than a week I had spent 24 hours on a coach going to both Sunderland and Newcastle and back :o

Brilliant support. If it was the other say around we would have taken 200.
That was the worst Sunderland side i've ever seen. They need a miracle to survive.
What the hell is going on at the club? They should be a top 10 Premiership side.

Makes you wonder what is going on there.

Some of those players playing today are on £70K pw and above contracts.

I think back in September for a Sat 3 pm ko we took just over 600 to them so fair play to them.

Your right if we were rock bottom of the Championship, never mind 12.30pm & live on tv, we would of struggled to have taken 200 fans.

So over all very good away support by Sunderland :thumbright:

I have photos of recent seasons where we have taken 89,110,120 away fans to Boro and Hull City.

Below Hull City away with Cardiff City, 120 City fans.
