' Interesting '

Even when many Premier Clubs did not sell out their Away Allocations at the Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff Still Got 27,000 plus crowds for 99% of our home games. I believe if we had held the 33,500 we do now,we would of had 30,000 plus every home game.

Many home games live on Sky,times changed and days.

Yet now we struggle in a half empty stadium?

I have put this up as many still mention the crowds etc, I thought it was interesting :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird:

In August fans said our home support would go up in Sept as everyone was on hols.
In Sept, fans will believe in Oct.
Oct fans are cold.
Nov, fans keeping money for Xmas.
Dec, the fans will all turn up in Jan.

Jan 17,700 in cl 900 Sunderland, plus thousands of cheap season tickets and Cardiff City 2nd in the Championship, after more than five months in the Top three of the Championship.

Neil Warnock with hardly any funds.

And in red and under Tan Annis. With those extra 4000 fans who left cos of the rebrand we would have had people not able to get tickets.

Neil.

The extra football fans that were there in the Premier League, were not there to watch Cardiff City they were there to watch the opposition as my point proves time and time again.

Cardiff City Top three of the Championship for 5 months and can't get over 20,000 home crowds, We are in our 6 month.

You brought Tan in to it once again, not me.

And yes I stand by Tan losing City 4,000 hardcore City fans :bluescarf:

And a few hundred hardcore away City fans :bluescarf:

If we had the re-brand fans back then we would be hitting the same crowds as we had when we went up.

We've lost 4k fans but funny enough it's when golden ticket expired! Coincidence or just an excuse! But do not buy 4k lost due to rebrand with nothing else having any effect as you and others are suggesting! Yes lost some fans but to say all of our lost fans down to one thing is being one eyed and blinkered. : :old:

The atmosphere has changed and it's getting a bit nice for the older fans, instead of chucking coins at Managers from Swansea, the soft modern fans want to clap him

It will never be the same and many old die hard fans are dropping way, and are not being replaced.

ive never seen it mentioned in these attendance threads what effect Bellamy might have had on our attendances..our 2 best average crowds in this division for many many years coincide with his 2 arrivals..

Undoubtedly it had effect on increasing crowds same as Wembley visits golden tickets and promotion chasing team ect ect! But funny enough when all these things went they had no effect on losing crowds only one thing did that? Not relegation, not poor football nor relegation threatened team just one thing did it Which I find ridiculous and biased :old:

You would have seen it mentioned in my Massive thread on our attendances. I got the averages over the last 20 odd years. I mentioned Bellamy and in various other posts have written about lack of big name signings in comparison to players like Bellamy signing.

i did see it mentioned no big name players...but the Bellamy signing was a bit more than that a real one off.
