I maybe no football expert, but in my humble opinion they are shite

I actually feel quite sorry for their supporters who in fairness traveled in decent numbers for a 12.30 kick off

Just 2 home wins in 18 months, possibly relegated 2 seasons in a row

And having to sit through that 90 minutes of garbage where Etheridge was a virtual spectator

How bad must it be at that club??

The Sunderland fans I spoke to were great and accepted they'd been on a massive slide for a couple of years. Their main hope is just to survive this season and regroup (hopefully and ironically with a new owner)

I have family outside Durham and not to far from Sunderland in a village ironically called 'Pity Me' :laughing6:

A lot from there are 'Mackem' supporters and they're saying they think Chris Coleman will turn it around but it may take a season or two. They like what he has to say and his honesty, apparently :thumbright:

If Swansea go down they'll free fall

Picking up points from Watford and Newcastle, they are still in it

we were chatting to a few before the game - sound lads and lasses, travelled miles. One fella was a ST holder even though he lives in Somerset now, takes his nipper all over - loyal supporters.

All said their current situation has been waiting to happen for ages, none of them knew how they lasted in the Premier League for so long.
My father missed the cup final in 1927 as my grandad only had 2 tickets, and my Dad had an older brother!
