Why would you play someone who doesn’t want to be here ahead of players who do ?

I would think Gunnarsson will only play if one of the others is injured unless the new player is truly awful!! In which case they may decide paying the financial penalty is necessary !!!!!

Looks like a great buy. Some on another thread were questioning whether he is good enough!?! Nothing is guaranteed BUT look at some facts
1/highlights of Liverpool v Man Utd under 21s. Described as the best player on the pitch.
2/ apparently a very good header of the ball (check out goal v Man Utd under 21s.
3/Has had more first team minutes than Woodburn this year!
4/has good size and physicality to suit our style and the demands of the Championship
Hats off to Warnock etc AND to Tan (contrary to what some on here were saying) for backing the manager

Perhaps its the end for Gunnar.

I think it probably is the end for Gunner, it looks like his replacement, but Warnock's not sentimental and not worried to upset Liverppol, if he thinks a fit Gunner or Bryson will do a better job, he will play them.

Not cup tied, and yes he can play. He’s with us for the rest of the season so no reason why Liverpool would stop him.

Well he's not coming to get splinters in his arse. Theres a big difference between guaranteeing game time and guaranteeing 90mins every week.Like any other player fatigue causes injury and I guess Klopp will want him looked after in that regard.

Good point. We don't know the full details of the deal but surely NW has some leeway by either bringing him on during the game or more likely taking him off if he is not playing well and still meeting the terms of the agreement with Liverpool.
