Totally agree mate, they seemed quite young so probably as you saud trying to make a name for themselves.annis the 1 stroke of luck we did have as we boarded the bus the police left us no escort out of town nothing just left us to it and the clutch went!if mansfield had doubled back or had to go that route home or whatever we'd have been sitting ducks and got absolutely hammered by them, was glad to get out of there in the end

I bet, that was very close Stephen.

It was mate, when they asked where you were i said sat on a beach in spain relaxing with a beer haha

 Love it  :ayatollah:

Seemed to shut em up mate haha

I bet

Three of them fb book me and asked if I was coming, I actually told them No.
I don't think they believed me as I have been up there on our 9 previous occasions and the last three times, we really took the mick.

Last went to Mansfield early 90's. Utter shithole of a place and rough as hell.
It was always going to be dodgy if travelling independantly. Our reputation from years ago always preceeds us.
Good job our lot from the 90's weren't there!

Think they were still fuming from the 2002 game up there haha...been everywhere the past 20 odd years but that was shocking how you could just walk anywhere you wanted after the game and do as you pleased. We did back them off twice when we had the numbers but as everyone went their own ways they picked us off.Swings and roundabouts guys im sure the lads of the past have given them a few clips so it is what it is
