Tan is not to blame it is a load of nonsense.

Cardiff City have never had consistent big crowds, never!!! I’m completely on board with you. Should we be having over 25,000 every game this season, no we don’t, history doesn’t suggest that. On the flip side, the size of our city, and the catchment area, yes we should be getting that.

Don’t get the obsession, and people need to revisit history a bit more, very big isolated crowds, followed by poor attendances one after the other.

For example - 10th March 1971, Real Madrid Home - 47,500, but the round before against Nantes we had 17,000

30,000 less, the very next League game we only had 23,00 against QPR, and that’s the year we finished 3rd.....there you have it. Let’s just enjoy the season, and let’s forget about attendances, it’s gettjng really boring!

Well in my opinion a lot of our fans felt the same way when we moved into our fort knox of a stadium with all the changes in the laws of the land relating to football trouble. Loads were never there for the football, but for all the palava that went with the game.

Seeing city in the premier league was an end of their journey. Even if we stayed up i doubt they would have renewed. The game had moved on.

This is one of the main reasons the crowd’s are poor,I’ve watched City for over 30 yrs and
the dream for me and a lot of my mates was to see City in the top division,
Once we done it the dream was over, I still watch City done 5 Home games and 2 away
this season but that’s mostly to meet up with some old City mates.

The year we struggled not very good. But after the play offs and FA Cup Final loads of season ticket sales meant crowds were up hugely.

Plastic winkers getting excited over a cup game

It's a glorified friendly, the league is more important, muppets going to see Aguero and feckin Jesus.

Your spot on, I've never seen any other club get a higher attendance in a cup game when they get a big draw.
