MY VIEW:FOR ME TONIGHT THIS FOR CARDIFF WAS A VERY VERY BIG

My View / Opinion

FOR ME TONIGHT THIS WAS A VERY VERY BIG WIN & WITH ASTON VILLA LOSING IT WAS A DOUBLE CELEBRATION :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

CARDIFF CITY WITH THE BEST DEFENCE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP TONIGHT GOT THEIR 7TH WIN IN A ROW & ARE NOW UNBEATEN IN THEIR LAST 11 GAMES :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

To be fair Brentford made Cardiff work for it and looked like one of the toughest teams Cardiff have played this season, but yet again Neil Warnocks team dug deep and came away with the 3pts :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

THE CARDIFF CITY TEAM ARE SO WELL DRILLED/ORGANISED BY WARNOCK :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

First-Half Very exciting and end to end football :bluebird:

Cardiff Will have been more happy to have gone in winning 1-2 at half-time, for me Brentford were the better team, but its who scores that matters and City never caved in :thumbright: :bluebird:

Captain Sean Morrison returned to the Cardiff Side tonight.

Cardiff City: Etheridge; Manga, Bamba, Morrison, Bennett; Mendez-Laing, Grujic, Damour, Paterson, Hoillett; Zohore.

Subs: Murphy, Pilkington, Halford, Connolly, Traore, Wildschut, Madine.

Cardiff were looking for their 7th win in a row tonight.

Brentford attacked Cardiff from the first second.

In the 5th min Gurjic lost possession, Morrison tried to play offside but he got it all wrong as Maupay slid through.

then one-on-one with Etheridge and he curled it calmly into the bottom left hand corner. 1-0

in the 17th min Manga was booked.

The match was very lively and was end to end football.

25th min Sol Bamba fired the Bluebirds level 1-1 :thumbright: :bluebird:

But Brentford never stopped taking the game to Cardiff and continually looked very dangerous.

Then bang in the 46th min Calum Paterson put the Bluebirds 1-2 up, it came out of nothing :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Junior Hoilett forced an error down this near side, He nipped in and lifted his head up to see Calum Paterson arriving late.

The ball was pulled back and Paterson fires it beyond Bentley :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff Will have been more happy to have gone in winning 1-2 at half-time, for me Brentford were the better team, but its who scores that matters and City never caved in :thumbright: :bluebird:

H/T 1-2 :bluebird: :bluebird:

Both teams continued to go for it.

Damour became the second Cardiff player into the book after a foul in midfield.

58th min Kenneth Zohore got onto a loose ball and just poked it beyond Bentley and inside the left post from close range 1-3 Cardiff :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Morrison became the third Bluebird into the book after one too many fouls this evening.

Gary Madine came on for Kenneth Zohore.

Yanic Wildschut came on for Junior Hoilett.

Traore came on for Mendez-Laing

A Well Deserved victory :thumbright:

F/T 1-3 :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

That was a win and performance from a team which is full of belief and confidence. No-one had a bad game and Bamba gave a master class in defending and scoring! The Blues are going up, The Blues are going up :bluescarf:

Said yesterday I thought 91 points will do the trick. I still think that will be enough, five more wins and we should be ok.

They battered us for the first 5 minutes and then spent the next 85 wondering what hit them. A master class of power and industry from everyone of our players. We are going to take some stopping :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Huge result, I said in work today I fancy us to draw and had a feeling villa would lose.... Thankfully I was wrong

Plenty of twists and turns yet but nice to have that gap especially on Fulham.

What a result well done we put them off their game and do what we do not the final third don't give a toss what villa and Fulham do as long as we win our games I really think we can take top spot off wolves that would be sweet onwards and upwards next victim to be Warnocked Derby county :bluescarf:

That is a very significant attribute with this squad. Even if a first goal down, it doesn't dent confidence and from what I've seen, makes them even more focused. They are playing for each other and you cannot buy that.

A very big away win tonight against a decent side and especially with Vile getting spanked at home.

Another tough away game on Sunday and even that our coach leaves at 5:40am, I am looking forward to it.

I was impressed when we went 1-0 down because it made no difference to us, we never went in to a shell or anything we continued to try and play, pretty much no one one the team gave a fk the scored.

All that pressure we never really panicked, we tried to play football rather then just hoof it up.

Honestly thought it should of been 3-4 to us at half time

Seemed similar to our home game against them. They enjoyed a lot of possession but we were clinical. Good to see us beating a good football team away from home especially with the away games coming up. Great performance
