Both should have been re taken

Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:20 am

Both of our penalties should of been re taken
Wolves players were definitely encroaching
Take a good look at least 3/4 players in the box before the ball was struck
See you at villa

Wolves players not really issue. Ruddy off his line is a bit naughty. He's almost on 6 yard line by time it a taken.
Still say if u get a second pen u have to hit target..straight down middle

Not the reason for them being missed. Happens all the time and was not the reason one penalty did not even hit the target. No point in looking for excuses. Two poor penalties is why we lost, not Wolves players making their moves too early.

Couldn't see from where I was but they are both infringements that should have resulted in them being retaken. That's just rules, badly taken penalty or not.

If the keeper had parried the ball outward and we knocked the rebound in would he of allowed it (doubt it ) also thier players gained an advantage by encrouching its . Not exscuses its the rules . Being broken

The rules are being broken, but if those had gone in we would have been furious if the ref made us re-take them due to encroachment. Half the corner kicks taken are in breach of the rules, and we have scored off a few.

Yes cannot use rules to hide fact that both pens were poorly taken especially madines.

The rules are pretty fairish.

We take the penalty and they infringe. If we score it counts. If we miss its retaken

We take the penalty and we infringe. If we miss it stands. If we score it gets retaken.

If both teams infringe it should be retaken.

Unfortunately infringement at penalties frequently go un punished

Not sure about that madines was weak and too near the keeper
