MY VIEW: FOREST : GRUJIC, PATERSON, ZOHORE - IN : // Forest are truely a mid-table team with good players but no one stands out.

On paper we should win...but then....hmm.. // My focus is not on them but rather on us :

(1) I very much hope that Bamba's substitution was just a precaution. He is one of the lynchpins of our team. Manga can stand in and is good and very comfortable on the ball - but he will always make at least one mistake that could cost us big time - I like him but am not comfortable.

(2) Gunnarsson is the epitomy of heart, commitment, work rate, leadership etc.. but he lacks quality. We have gone beyond him now. Grujic ahead of him for me.

(3) Paterson must start ahead of Damour or Bryson. If Ralls can play then our mid-field is Ralls-Grujic-Paterson. If no Ralls then Damour or Bryson. (

4) Zohore ahead of Madine definately. Madine works hard, puts himself about but lacks the quality Besides the system we play with one striker does not suit him. The talk that he softens the opposition's defence for Zohore to get the cream - does not cut the mustard with me.

Forest have a 6'8" Romanian keeper who is on loan from Watford and who has played very little in England - we need to test him. Zohore can slot the ball near his feet. Madine is not going to terrorize him. Bamba is a real concern.

Of course - Tomlin can't play so they will play Cash or Vellios. I fancy their player Joe Lolley on their right wing.

I will be disappointed if we don't get 3 points.

All out attack from the first minute. :ayatollah: play all our big hitters from the start.

Definately keep Grujic on the bench. Hopefully ralls on the bench too ready to start against derby

The theory that Madine wears down the defenders for Zohore to get the cream worked yesterday, don't think that should be the plan for playing at home though especially against Forest. But in Warnock we trust!

Can’t disagree with any of that, zohore continues to frustrate but does have ability and usually responds when dropped as he did again Saturday. Bang on with midfield although I think with all the games we have had and niggles they were rested. I think he will go with Gunnar Grujic and Patterson.

Madine? It’s way to early to judge him, he’s played little and he’s playing as a lone striker. I still believe he will play a big part in this run in.

One of 4 cup finals, massive game. If fit i’d give Ralls 60 mins pushing on, with Gunnarsson doing the cover work and Grujic the play making. Now that leaves us with the Pato dilemma - cos we cant leave the lad out, but he could do with a rest to be fair. Bloody love Pato, what a player. I wouldnt be surprised if NW mixes it up for this one, with the Derby game being so close. I’d stick with Madine to get his confidence up (and hopefully a goal), the lad will come good, he wont give up.

I was critical last week of Gunnasrson playing full games after returning from his lengthy lay off. It wasn't quite the intensity in the middle at Norwich but fair play he was still going strong at the end. A good weeks rest and he could be well and truly back to match fitness for the forest game.

NW will get the midfield balance right for this game.

Attacking IMO.

ps. Forest won away at Wolves don't forget.

I would play Grujic but I struggle to imagine him and Gunnerson in the same team so we know Warnock is going to go with gunner in which case Grujic has to be on the bench.

Zohore has to start

Zohore to stay on the bench for me. Hes been hopeless dont forget over the last 5 games at least. He did score coming off the bench maybe thats where we have been going wrong with him. Bring him on in the second half rather than always taking him off.
(Plikington was not given a chance to start when scoring as a late sub)

Give Madine a chance and prove the quick to be Judgemental typical city fans wrong yet again please.

I'm not sure I see Costel Pantilimon as a liability to be honest! Very good goalkeeper that has replaced their previous goalkeeping disasters in Smith and Stojkovic.
