As much as i agree it's costly, but at least the money is going to LOCAL charities.
Youll happily pay 25-40 pound to go in the pockets of the players and club like Bristol city and Leeds, why would you not be happy spending the same or less to go to some fantastic causes?

First I never even read it was going to any cause, even though I put it out

But secondly, The money hardly ever goes to the charity as 90% of money ever collected usually never gets to the charity as its some how eaten up with expenses.

My comments are more regarding many many City fans have complained and boycotted Championship clubs for charging over £25.

Steve, Totally different, what you did was all of your own backs and did it all for free and was fantastic by you and William :thumbright: :thumbright:

Steve, its a pre-season friendly against no more than village team and just going by what the above posters are saying on here, Twitter & FB, fans do think its well over priced.

I am in the 'that's shocking' camp tbh.

I, like many on here I would imagine, already give a large amount of my annual income to charity, including Velindre so those heart strings don't pull for me, I pay £20 a month out of my wages via DD plus sponsor anyone when they do something worthwhile.

To charge £20 to sit, (no concessions) and £15 to stand, possibly 5 deep at ground level is greedy and a poor move IMO.

It's a pre season friendly FFS, Charge £10 for Adults, £2 for kids and have a bucket collection.

£20 for Velindre.

I bet every one of us has had a family member or friend treated there.

3000 fans will cover so many treatments.

It’s the cost of 4-5 pints. Might help some livers as well

That's not the point, albeit it is for charity, it is too expensive for a friendly game between Taffs Well and Cardiff City.

Its a very simplistic view.

Perhaps he goes by himself, earns good money so £20 might be water off a ducks back.

Switch that round to a working class man who wants to take his two sons, £60 to sit in the stand, I don't think so, £30 to stand 5 deep, again I don't think so.

£10 for adults, £2 for kids, a bucket collections which would probably raise a few grand and everyone is a winner.

Yeah I was like that once aswell, didn't give a shit about anyone else, I paid £95 for my FA Cup Final Ticket probably spent about another £150 on top on the piss as the only person I had to care about was myself.

Spent £4,000 going to France for the Euro's and never batted an eyelid but I see people struggling now, people who want to go but can't afford it and I see it from the other side aswell.

It's a Football Match, a pre season friendly, not a charity event, make it affordable for everyone and make a bit of money for charity aswell is a bonus.

It is the point.
The point is they are trying to make some money for a good cause.

The game is pretty pointless - Premier League players against a side like Taffs Well

You’ll hardly be able to see it anyway unless you at st the front or 8 ft tall.

For me it’ll just be a couple of hours with my mates.

The seats are probably all gone, so you are looking at £15 now.

If it was £5 then thousands more would want to go and you’d have loads moaning they couldn’t get tickets.

The club do the cup games for next to nothing and hardly anyone turns up for them and they are at home.
