At his age he needs to be playing in first team, he is to old to be a young promising player with potential anymore.
Another player who has not yet played many games due to signing for a top team who put players in their under 23s stopping their development
The old saying old enough if good enough is hardly used anymore as 17/19 year old boys are not used when you have a squad of 25 getting paid zillions
When in lower leagues we saw more boys coming through from the youth teams to be tried in first team the higher we got the less came through
