BREAKING NEWS
Leicester have agreed a £10m fee with Liverpool for goalkeeper Danny Ward.
We understand Ward is being brought in to provide competition for Kasper Schmeichel, not to replace him.
Ward is expected to take a medical and discuss personal terms in the coming days.

Wow a lot to pay for a reserve keeper, shame he isn't going somewhere he will play. I guess they may loan him out.

Decent keeper but 10 million is a big fee considering!

Fee confirmed as £12.5m, probably increased it to take into account the 10% sell on clause that the mighty Wrexham had.
Nice bonus for them,£1.25m.
Sold Ward to the scousers for £100,000.
Good business for the scousers as well, added a 20% sell on clause on top of the £12.5m transfer fee.
That's the way to buy and sell.

I have a feeling Casper Schmeichael will be going to Chelsea when Courtois leaves for Madrid
That leaves Danny Ward as #1
No other real reaaon to spend that type of money on a keeper who wont play

Massive fee for a keeper who was number 3 behind Mignolet and Karius who in fairness are both shite
How clubs arrive at these stupid fees for average players is beyond me

I can't see anyone paying £10+ million for Karius , so Klopp must have been showing Germanic favouritism.
Which cost the bin dippers big last season.
