He's as solid as any defender we have at the club. Doesn't lose a challenge.
He doesn't go flying down the wings putting in crosses but then we have pacey wingers to be doing that. Jazz as back up and Patterson can play there too.

You see a completely different player to me. He gets caught out of position, can't pass, can't cross and being a 'solid defender' is a complete myth.
NW will give him a chance but he will become such a liability that I can see Connolly taking over at some point.

Not because Peltier has done anything wrong but just because I think certain players have their limit and always had Peltier down as a mid-top of the Championship player at best who could possibly be out of his depth in the Premier League, he is also not getting any younger.
However, now the midfield is strong, I think Patterson will revert back to playing full back as I can't see him getting into our midfield so I think it will be him and LP challenging for that spot, plus Richards, Connolly and Manga can also play there so the position is well covered.

Posters are entitled to their opinion of players and if they state a player is not good enough and explain why then that is certainly not 'shocking'
As for Peltier he has let City down many times by being caught out of position, easily beaten by pace and his most annoying failing of passing the ball to the opposition time and again.
It gives me no pleasure to point this out but I can't understand the logic of ignoring or under stating the problem we have with him as our first choice right back.

there isnt a single player in the team who you couldnt use the "terrible passing" trait towards.

All opinions mate but imho there’s not many wingers that had the better of him this year, providing he stays st right back and doesn’t venture forward.
