Would prefer a full CCS than a half empty millennium. This is what Gigs wanted. Wonder if he will turn up as it only a friendly.

Please no more in the egg box after tonight!!!!

This really should have been a adults for a tenner and kids for a quid type game, especially on a school night but instead they've gone with high prices and a low crowd. I imagine the price will put some people off for a friendly in which we'll probably be seeing Spain's second string side.

Probably be 50,000 20 more than at the ccs for what is basically a money making exabition match for the FAW. With the introduction of the nations league I think friendlies will be extremely uncompetitive. Don't see the problem in having one of these types of games once a year.
Thu Oct 11, 2018 12:11 pm
Probably would be rocking had it been at the CCS. There'll be completely no atmosphere tonight.
Thu Oct 11, 2018 12:23 pm
There are still plenty of tickets remaining. You can buy them tonight
Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £10 for senior citizens and £5 for children aged 16 or under.

Never liked us playing there. The atmosphere was usually disappointing. It's definitely Giggs' choice.

They are hoping for 45k to cover the WRU cost, as a percentage of gate receipt go to the WRU for them allowing their stadium to be used. Giggs will push the FAW hard to switch all Wales games to the Millennium bowl, as he sees it as the prestigious venue Wales should be based at, as opposed to a championship/premiership venue of just 33k.

Simon, I believe Wales should stay at the Cardiff City Stadium as the Millennium is way to big and its really for the egg.
Perfect atmosphere at the Cardiff City Stadium

'Never played a friendly for Wales Giggs' - first BIG mistake. Stick your egg stadium.

Really? Thought he said the total opposite when asked.

I'm not going even if it's free. I don't want to support a move to principality so my protest is not going. Welsh football has made its name in ccsc

100% agree. The egg stadium is for the minority tourism sport of egg chasing not football.

Same here.
I haven't missed a single Welsh game at CCS where the atmosphere is great. I won't be going back to The Principality Stadium with all the air horns and screaming kids.
Also I just can't bring myself to get behind Giggs - a moral bankrupt.

Some of Wales & Spain's main stars will be missing
Thursday 11th October 2018
Wales will miss star forward Gareth Bale when they host Spain in an international friendly at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Thursday.
Coach Ryan Giggs said Bale has been ruled out with "muscle fatigue," per BBC Sport. Not having the Real Madrid striker available is a major blow for the former Manchester United man.
Spain's attack will also be below strength, with Real playmaker Isco and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa expected to miss out, according to Goal's Phil Kitromilides.
Date: Thursday, October 11

2 x tickets, 2 x train fare tickets, some food I'm looking at £70 and up....f**k that for a friendly
Thu Oct 11, 2018 3:30 pm
Great location though. Choice of countless bars and eateries.
Thu Oct 11, 2018 3:45 pm
One of the best stadiums in the world and one of the few with a roof! The Panama Friendly at the CCS only attracted 12k even after our Euros success and cheap prices, even our last game with Ireland wasn’t a sell out,I know because I was at both! Wales should play at the most suitable stadium for the anticipated crowd,Wrexham and Swansea included,Wales is not Cardiff City and I am a member of both!
Thu Oct 11, 2018 4:44 pm
20% of the stadium will get up to leave on 80 minutes.
Thu Oct 11, 2018 5:04 pm
As long as Giggs is in charge I’ll watch it on the telly!
Can’t stand the bloke

Fair enough. Personally I'd put my country ahead of my personal likes and dislikes.
People said the same about Coleman but if success comes so will the fans.
