yep he stabalised a top 6 club who had a hic up into mid table drudge often leaving out our better players
and the lies...billy liar was obviously based on him but toned down quite a bit.

the names are endless but would not mind if David Moyes or Sam Alardyce is given a go, someone who has been there and done that in the Premier League

Remember Paul Trollope? Good coach and assistant but not a number 1. Completely different job going from a coach or assistant to manager.

I wouldn't mind going for Eddie Howe. Done a brilliant job for Bournemouth and doesn't seem to have a problem getting players to sign for him

Lot of knowledge though and also some managerial experience. It would bring continuity, perhaps bringing in Martin ONeil to gradually familiarise himself and take over in the window .
That'd work, I'm sure, but I'm also sure it wouldn't happen . I expect that Mr Tan would intend to do things differently , probably going for a big name at that stage, which might not be such a good idea as it seems.
We'd lose a massive part of the essence of the club if Sir Neil left, but I think we'd be well advised to preserve the culture he's instilled.

This guy will not leave Bournemouth for us - More chance of being the England manager 1 day - Well respected .

Chris Wilder for me. Similar to Warnock he's done a superb job of overachieving at Sheffield United with a small budget and getting the best out of average players and his teams play with high energy and always give 100%. Think he would be perfect for us. I would have said Dean Smith when he was at Brentford but he wont leave Villa for us.

Big Sam would be the best option, like it or not.

But he’d also be very expensive, and one of the reasons it’s unlikely. Another is he always wants plenty of funds to bring in a lot of new players, and I don’t think we can offer that right now.

He also said when he left Palace that he didn’t want to do another job where he’d be in a relegation battle - a “save me job” as he calls it.

His last club was Everton, which you could argue is one of the biggest clubs in the league outside of the big six. We would be a significant step down.

But if there was any way we could get him, he would be the best option for a club like us. He has his critics with the style of play, but he gets results. The job he did at Sunderland was incredible.

Chris Coleman...

Look at Soljkaer, getting us relegated to the championship and then putting us in a relegation battle in the championship...
He then joins Man United and he's hot shit

Don't judge Coleman on Sunderland alone. I think he'd be brilliant at Cardiff...

However, obviously I'd prefer Warnock here another year, or 10 years if it was possible...

The guy from Real Betis Quique Setien has a good name for finding talent,if he can let players like Victor Camarasa go on loan the other players must be very good.
As much as I like Mr Warnock it would be great to see us play with high skillful players.

Same old Dinosaur managers names being thrown around again.

We should be adventurous and go abroad. Nobody knew Pochettino before he went to Southampton. Nobody knew Nuno at Wolves until they snapped him up.Stoke just took a risk and got a very good young British Manager

There are a lot good managers about who just need a chance to show what they can do
