Transit van trips...

Tue Dec 15, 2009 7:29 pm

One thing I really miss about the modern day travel to away games is the good old transit van.One trip even though not in a Transit was Burnley away last game in the late 80's,where 23 of us from Port Talbot packed into a Luton van ,then onto Blackpool ......No doubt everyone has a story about this great form of Football travel.

Exeter away in the 80's two transit loads, Ely Trendies,Splott lads, Neath Lads and myself, mad day.
on the way back one of the lads wrote soul crew in some wet concrete in Taunton, the blokes on the building site went mental, I will leave it there  :ayatollah:

Went to Wolves away in the transit in the 80's after the game they tried turn it over by some traffic lights with us in it, we got out chased about 30 of them and then the police took it out on us lol
Got back to Cardiff central to drop people off, Newport Old boys had been playing rugby in the arms park they saw us and smashed us to pieces lol. They did out number us 4 to 1 lol.
