I will always support cardiff, will never wear red or support the re-brand. but thats
me, up to others if they want to wear red.
dont thing the demo against blackburn will get us any were , rather support the team
in blue, them any demo's after we get up, and then the biggest demo will be if every
one wears blue.
some lady offered me and my daughter red scarfs on tuesday and seemed supprised
we refused them, even said there free, she missed the point, she sits behind me and my
dauhter and said in the game i am proud of my scarf, thats up to her, as i said i will always
support cardiff but never the re-brand.

Many times days away from going under and even hours.
We were £500,000 in Debt in the 4th Div, a lot for that Division in 2000. We were in trouble then big time.
The truth is Cardiff City has always been at deaths door.
These are just a few chairmen off the cuff.
Under Bob Grogan we were ok, then he died and Kenton Utilites, run by his son never wanted us and refused to put any money in to us.
Under Tony Clemo we were days from being wound up in the courts and I rem his business being attacked, We were told our club had days to survive. Meeting in the City Arms 100 of us, bucket collections etc.
Under Samesh Kumar we were going to be wound up.
The Ice Hockey men Paul Guy etc Moving to a 2 sided stadium holding 12,000.Nothing but debts and lies.
Under Sam we were weeks from being wound up, the fans once again feeling let down.
The Riddler screwed us and we were once again about to be wound up for lets say the 12th time in the last 30 years.
I could go on and on.
Administration/Liquidation/Wound up/Bailiffs at the door we've had it all.
I could write a book.
The facts are there and anyone who was really around during those years will know Cardiff City has been on many occasions just been 24hrs from being wound up, but weve always come through it and survived and the there is always somebody around the corner as the saying goes. I was at fans meetings in the late 70's/80's/90's and we talking about how to save our club then.
We always came through it and remained Cardiff City, Blue and the BlueBirds and Proud with it.
Oh and by the way you dont end up the Welsh League, the door is open to stay in the English League, but as fans we always rallied around and stuck together and our club as Ive said came through it and thats why we were once very proud and passionate fans.
We were never divided like this, yes there were battles between areas, but when it really mattered we were all as one.
WE NEED OUR FANS TO BE UNITED ONCE AGAIN AND BE PROUD AND PASSIONATE/ I SO MISS THAT.

During the late 70's Cardiff City F.C. were in such dire straights financially that the club was made a "subsidiary" of Kenton Utilities, a Jarrow based engineering company headed by Bob Grogan himself. It was thanks to him (BOB Grogan) that his company did all the safety work at Ninian Park in order to comply with the then sports ground safety act,,,,remember the old wooden Grange end being pulled down, the Bob bank having emergency evacuation exits at the rear, & a host of other safety work which reduced the NP capacity from around 50.000 to a little over 20.000. All very expensive, but necessary at the time.
The very same reason Wales played a "home" World cup qualifying game v Scotland at Anfield in 1977.

I thought we had to play the 1977 game against Scotland away from Wales as a punishment because of the trouble the previous year when we played Yugoslavia - I may be wrong on that though and perhaps it's a false memory.
