Looks like he's been watched by a few clubs for a while. Could be a very interesting signing.

Another one that flew under the radar from all.

Inside knowledge about Cornelius!

I am from Denmark and follow our top flight every week. Cornelius is the future striker of the danish national team. He is a powerful and strong left-footed striker who has had a break through this season in the Superliga (Best division in Denmark).

He is already a regular in the Danish national team and has been really good for FCK (the league winners in Denmark this season and by far the best team. His strengh is his airplay and a powerful left strike. He is still only 20 and has only been playing regular first team football in 1½ year in FC Copenhagen.

I am exited about the prospect of him for the future but I am not sure he can make the imidiate impact I was looking for in a new striker for this amazing forthcoming season. But I am in no way sure he can't either. It is going to be very interesting.

I have hated him until now, because he played for FC Copenhagen which is a club my club Aalborg BK hates. So I am not overly exited about seeing him in our jerseys. But as we all know - we football fans often tend to have a short memmory if he becomes a big succes, as I feel he can be. But as i mentioned earlier, he is only 20 and has only been playing at a top level for under 2 years.

It's going to be interesting to see if he can have an immidiate inpact at CCS!

Glad we can have someone whose more or less an expert on him, I think we can understand that no he won't score goals instantly but I think we can blend him in, he will get a few assists on the way but he can really compliment Maynard/Campbell etc. Are Denmark close to qualifying for the World Cup? THREE players playing at the World Cup from Cardiff would be great :ayatollah:

Hey guys. I'm a Danish Cardiff fan, and has been following Andreas Cornelius during the last year, as I am also a football journalist.

Andreas Cornelius is a very talented player, but he has his limitations as well.

Strengths: Physically strong, quite good technique, good finishing, positioning in the opponents area, nose for goals, heading. In addition it is worth mentioning that he seems like a lad with both feet on the ground. He doesn't whine when he is brought down, which I know is popular in British football.

Weaknesses: Speed, lack of routine, has a tendency of falling out the game.

All in all, I think he can be a good signing. My only scepsis is, that Cardiff currently holds six forwards?

Looks a great signing .... fantastic prospect and a great kick-start to our transfer dealings.
Malky throwing down the gauntlet in his usual quiet and effective manner. That's a lesson to all managers in how to do a deal.
