You think Malky will play Blake ahead of Hudson or Gerrard ?

It's not that I think Malky will start with Darcy, just that I would, for the following reasons:-

Although I thought Gerrard was playing slightly better than Hudson when Turner came into the side and was unlucky to have been dropped, Gerrard's performances have been decidedly average at best, since Hudson got injured!

I'd therefore play Darcy alongside Turner, as Wembley is a big pitch and with Hudson just coming back from several weeks out, I think he'd struggle!

I know Darcy has his failings and that his distribution is poor on occasion (As well as McNaughton btw), but I think that Darcy's pace could be very effective in combatting Liverpool's pacey frontline of Suarez, Bellamy, Downing and possibly Kuyt!

We'd lose a bit of height with Darcy in the side and Carroll could cause us problems should he play, but I think Darcy's pace would be more beneficial than height on such a big pitch!

Darcy's also played there and marked Rooney out of the match for 90 minutes fairly recently and I'd therefore start with him!

this is what i think malky will go with. Maybe if he wishes to really go for it mason will play ahead of mcphail just infront of the midfield four/just behind miller which is a role he plays extremely well. if hudson is 100 % i think he will start too.

Personally i wouldnt play any of the young'ns, Mason or Ralls. Too big of an occasion i think

Would also LOVE Macca to be fit and ready to play, but can't really see it happening he deserves another wembley game!

TBH I think Malky will go for an experienced striker up front and if he gets tired he will replace him with another experienced striker whom Liverpool will not be expecting to see. Robert Earnshaw. Malky will try and get the team more defensive minded than attacking minded but will train them to hit them on the break. Once we're on the run, don't stop until we score. Similar to West Ham
