Totally agree. I hope it's the first option.
But f they appoint him until the new year then, in betting terms, that would make him our permanent manager as it would go over the ten-game threshold.
He's already managed three games so his odds will naturally fall.
Probably been a bit of money placed on him as well for these reasons or maybe they have contacts who know a bit more (for example, him being likely to be appointed).
I still hope they give the job to him.
