What does doubles mean on a football bet? I put on four teams on to win this weekend, I ticked the doubles box and put £1, my total bet comes to £6. Its not clear on my betting slip but does this means that if any two of the four teams win I get a pay out, is that correct?

you just have 6 doubles team 1+2, 1+3, 1+4,2+3,2+4 and 3+4 but in each double both teams have to win
