Dellacqua's odds have crashed now. 1.66 on many bookie sites.
She was odds against at one point last night.c

Weather a factor agaon today? Or chilled down a bit now?
Fri Jan 17, 2014 12:44 am
Yep, 42 degrees today.
Its supposed to drop to mid twenties after today though.
Fri Jan 17, 2014 6:25 am
Woke up to 4 winners and dellacqua serving for the match

Thoughts on stouser? Shes about 2.3 I think v ivanovic
Fri Jan 17, 2014 7:51 am
Yep another clean sweep so far.
2 of the 3 accys settled and just waiting on Gasquet for the other one to make it 100%.
Im leaving Stosur and Ivanovic, two of the most unpredictable women in tennis
Fri Jan 17, 2014 8:15 am
gasquet single
Gasquet/stouser double (only small)
gasquet/australia (cricket) double.
thats it for me today i think lol
Fri Jan 17, 2014 8:33 am

Nah it has a roof.
Fri Jan 17, 2014 8:59 am
Probably against my better judgement I went for an Ivanovic and Gasguet double last minute decision.

very nip and tick the ivanovic match, still go either way for me.

Isnt it just
Think i should have trusted my gut and stayed clear. Ivanovic missing 3 set points
Both have fantastic weapons but have the mental strength of a goldfish.

Looks like my secret is officially out.
Muguruza is evens against Wozniacki tomorrow, knew the day would come - just a shame its so soon.
Thats the bad thing about Grand Slams, they expose the gems to the world audience and you can no longer profit on them.
For the last 6 - 8 months, ive been backing Muguruza at odds of 2 and 3 to 1 against people barely in the top 100. Same happened with Jamie Hampton and Sloane Stephens last year.
Just having a look at tomorrows matches - great day of matches. Will post my bets later on after i see the outcome of the final accy.

you still fancy her against mrs mcilroy though?
think she 4/5 on bet365

Hmmm. I genuinely think she will be a household name very soon - but saying that, probably wouldn't back her at that price. I was hoping for at least 7/4. Incredible match to watch though I'm sure and could really thrust her into the limelight.
Fri Jan 17, 2014 10:23 am
Stouser all over the place now

Ive never been able to back Stosur for that exact reason. Ivanovic is similar though in fairness and can go awful, luckily for me shes looking good at the moment.
Fri Jan 17, 2014 10:59 am
Ivanovic wins... But Gasquet has given up a 4-1 lead and lost the set 4-6 and now 2-1 down in sets
Not looking good for the final accy now. Hes not the best at grinding out wins.
2 accys out of 3 will do nicely though, just being greedy
Fri Jan 17, 2014 11:11 am
well the england cricket team did their bit!
just need Gasquet to pull his finger out of his ass now.
Fri Jan 17, 2014 12:14 pm
Gasquet looked brilliant first set and then went to pieces.
Getting money back from Paddy Power as he won the first set but lost the match
Fri Jan 17, 2014 12:25 pm
Im not going to do much tomorrow. May do one speculative accy to make watching it more fun, but they are so tough to call. Ive gone for Raonic and Wozniacki in their match ups but they really could go either way, normally i would go for the bigger price however i think experience may count when things a tight and Raonic and Wozniacki have been at this stage before.
Although I do have one tip which I will divulge in a sec

Ok call me crazy. In fact you wont be the first or last on this forum as it seems to be the "go to" insult
But I like Gael Monfils to beat Rafa Nadal.
He is looking bigger and stronger than I have ever seen him, and Rafa doesnt look as fit as normal - he even cut his practice short by 20 mins as he was breathing too hard which I was suprised by, although it was crazy hot.
Beating him may be stretching it but I think this will be one hell of a test for Rafa and at nearly 10/1 i cant help but feel a little tempted.
I dont know if you guys wants to look for a bet like Monfils to win a set, or Monfils +6.5 games or something to give it a bit of breathing room to win. I will probably just go small on a Monfils win and a bit bigger on the "to win a set" market which you could probably get for about 2.3 ish.
Ive never been one to sit on the fence or shirk sticking my neck on the line, so there we have it

Here's my one for tomorrow? What you think!

Nadal was so good, probably best I have seen him play since his big injury!

Yep he was insane. I got that one wrong.
I'm on the Mrs kindle so can't do the customary screeny but I've gone for....
Bouchard
Li
Ferrer
Wawrinka
Kerber
Paes/stepanek
Pays 5-1

I'm on, Wawrinka was 2/5. Crazy price he's barely worked up a sweat.
Although, in your opinion is having a walkover and relatively straight forward games beneficial to a player in a grand slam? Or is it better to be tested and play the same amount of games as the rest of the field?
Sun Jan 19, 2014 1:15 am
Kerber is in one hell of a battle here, managed to get her 5/1 on in play. Got a feeling it's going to happen too, tide is turning and Pennetta is a bit of a livewire.
Sun Jan 19, 2014 3:12 am
Kerber was a cracking bet at 5-1, amazing value. Whether she lost is irrelevant you would have won that bet 50% of the time id say.
My other accy for today is:-
$200 on to win $1100 I think.
