Quit an annoying one this as she was 2.3 odds against and won easily, yet i set the lay off at 1.8. Feels like we threw a lot of profit away but in the long run it works and nobody ever went broke by taking a profit.

4th one - nishikori got crushed and never got to a price low enough to lay off. Cant even explain that one. He did recently retire against nadal so dont know if that was anything to do with it, but it wasnt even competitive. £100 lost.

5th one - taylor townsend beat vania king. Another frustrating one as she was big odds against but as its the early rounds im being extra cautious - and won but lets just keep taking the profit. £40 profit.

6th one -julia Goerges beat lachar de brito. £30 profit.

5/6 won, 2 of them odds against, yet total profit is only at £70. Disappointing but thems the brakes.

Ana Schmeidlova beats venus williams but she reached the lay off point as she was a set and 2-0 up before collapsing. Thats the beauty of the lay off.

Everyone we currently have a bet on has reached their lay off point. This is what the lay off is all about. We now have loads of free bets with zero liability.

One of my singles Julia Glushko romps home with a nice profit at 2.62. We need one more bet out of the 3 doubles and 1 single to come in for a good profit.

Whether she retired or not is irrelevant really as the liability had gone as soon as she won the first set so the selection couldnt lose anyway whatever the outcome.

Thats why its important to lay off.
