Wouldn't surprise me if we get someone right out of left field, someone who hasn't figured in the betting yet. Id rather we take our time and consider who is best man for the job and not rush into an appointment. The rebuilding process has begun (slowly). We need a someone who can make real progress in bringing fans back on board, a better brand of football than we have seen and most of all a proven manager with a track record of wheeling dealing. If the rumours are true that there is a budget, lets not waste it on journeymen, strikers who are shipped on loan as soon as they arrive in the city or youngsters who are benched for seasons on end.

Wez, you know where my bet is and (if true) one of those allegedly at The Vale today would make me a happy man but the simple truth is we (the fans) appear no nearer being ITK than we were a few days ago and that sort of pleases me, as it means the club are going about their business in the right way!
