Just got back from London and fans drunk in streets at 5pm... just read the reports and only player to see the pen was Stirling even he was economical responding about pen the rest & southgate said didn't see it? ..... all pundits thought no pen but var as been consistent and not overturn a decision made by ref even if it was a wrong decision in most peoples eyes

Overall I think that the VAR has been light years ahead of the premier league. If it was in any other game nobody would care or be kicking up a fuss.

I thought England had a stonewall pen shout in normal time. Couldn’t for the life of me see how that was given as a Denmark freekick. The penalty given in extra time was a joke though.
England deserved the victory, they were by far the better side. From a footballing point of view I’m glad they won, as it’ll be a close and hopefully good game in the final. I feel if Denmark somehow won, Italy would have battered them in the final making the game a non event.

England have had so much luck it's unbelievable, every game bar one at home, the easiest draw by a mile compared to Italy and the teams on the other side, and then a free penalty opportunity in the semi?

They could win it, Italy have been the best team by a mile but have had such hard games it's bound to have taken it's toll?

Still logic still tells me Italy will grind out a narrow victory, but it could be some game!

Yes we have said its been used correctly this taunement compared to premier league ......but at the big game its officials failed to get it right? Guess they just followed what's been happening all taunement ref and var agreeing with each other instead of taking incident on it's own merit ...... var foes well in certain things but players are manipulating it as know any contact in box will be looked at using slow motion and invariably a pen is given even when the forward instigates contact ... shame it's a talking point rather than the game itself..

not for me.... Ethan Ampadu gets sent off , fair enough as refs have been told to do so for that type of challenge.... and then ? well no one else gets sent off or do VAR draw the refs attention to these red cards he is missing...the fact they havent got involved as much for me makes it no better just even more random....
