Personally I wasn’t that bothered who won or lost - the pity is it was a garbage match after 2 superb semi finals.
Any game that goes to penalties IMO is neither won or lost; it’s a lottery and I just wish there was a better way to determine a proper winner.
As for England they played the wrong formation and were too negative and didn’t use their bench properly. Southgate was outmanoeuvred by a proper football manager. Southgate maybe a nice man but his limitations were evident tonight. And I find that surprising given how astute he was versus Denmark.

The main criticism of southgate as ben his defensive style of play? Eg kane did not touch ball in pen area all game!!! and his late substitutions

Best team won. Not just best team tonight, they were. But the better team over the whole tournament.
