Switched allegiance to CCMB a while back (when Vincent was popular - as my avatar points to) just noticed a betting forum and would love to bounce some NFL bets off a few of you in the know.

Mainly bet on

A. Money line (simply who will win)
B. Point spread betting (team to win by a certain number of points)
C. Total match points (commonly known as over/under)

Sunday games
Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) 10/11
Tennessee Titans @ Denver Broncos (Over 48.5) 10/11
Seattle Seahawks 6/5

£20 Treble (7/1 odds)

Potential returns = £160 with PaddyPower.

Kansas are on a 3 game losing streak - however 2 of those games have been against the best ranked offence in the NFL (Denver Broncos). They are playing the Redskins who are 3-9 this season and simply awful. A 3 point deficit should be easily overturned by the Chiefs if you take the handicap posted above.

The Seahawks are 10-1 this season, and have already beaten the 49ers 29-3 in Week 2. Should be a great game, but the legion of boom with Marshawn Lynch back in form will move the Seahawks to 11-1. They dismantled the Saints last week, and the 49ers should be beaten too.

Only once this season have the Denver Broncos matches resulted in less than 48 points. That was against the number 1 ranked defence at the time - the Chiefs, when 44 points were scored in the match. Overall this season their matches have resulted in an average of 60 odd points being scored so the over looks very very likely.

If you need one more - I'd go New Orleans Saints to beat the Carolina Panthers on Channel 4.

The Saints are simply awesome at home, UNBEATEN ALL SEASON AT HOME, and with the Panthers breathing down their necks they need a win to take hold of their division.

Odds of 5/8 Ladbrokes or 8/13 PaddyPower.

If you include the Saints the 4 time £20 returns £255

Love watching the nfl but don't usually bet on it. However the odds on Seattle look a little large so will be jumping on.

Best of luck.

NFL is a quality sport. Very glad it's getting proper air time over here now.

I do bets on the Sky games normally, but can't decide between the Lions and Eagles; because you never know which Matt Stafford will show up. Nick Foles looks very good, so slightly favour the Eagles, but I really don't feel safe betting against Megatron. No bet for me in this one.

Seattle v 9ers is the 2nd game. I can't believe that Seattle are 6/5. They're 11-1 this season, and just destroyed Drew Brees and the Saints on MNF. Backing Seahawks.

Game on channel 4 is Panthers at Saints.
Both 9-3 in the division so massive game.

Reading up on recent history may suggest Cam and the Panthers win - but I disagree. Drew Brees and the Saints are 10-0 on Sunday and Monday night football in the dome. He has thrown for 33 touchdowns, only 4 interceptions and blown out opponents by 100s of points.

One other game as above is Chiefs @ Redskins. It's unbelievable that the point spread in this one is only 3. Chiefs need a win to stay in touch with the Broncos, and will easily win by 4 or more.

Good call on the Dallas game. Looks like there might be a little bit more value in some of these nfl games than the footie. Any more tips would be appreciated lads.

Seattle let the quad down for 13/1 odds - lost by 2 points after leading the entire game.

Anyways - tonight's game

Chargers @ Broncos

Over (+56.5) 10/11

I've only put on £21 though as earlier when I was in the bookies, Manning was listed as questionable. He's active now.

Currently there are 65 points at every Denver Bronco home game on average. See this as a pretty good bet as Broncos can't relax as Cheifs are only one game back, and home advantage at mile high is huge.
